  • 7:00 PM          Sight-Singing

  • 7:45 PM          Group Singing

  • 9:00 PM Free Time, Canteen

  • 10:00 PM         In Cabins

  • 11:00 PM          Lights Out

What to Bring

Students should bring a love for singing and a desire to learn. Also:

  • Sleeping bag or twin bedding (sheets, blankets, etc)

  • Pillow

  • Toiletries

  • Swimsuit

  • Towel

  • One Sunday dress outfit for final concert

  • Clothing for the week should be modest

  • Medicines (will be left with the nurse upon arrival)

  • Flashlight

  • Pitch Pipe

  • Pencils, pens, paper, notebook, music theory books

  • Bible

  • Good Attitude and a desire to learn.

The Foundation School of Church Music has been contributing to better singing in the churches of Christ for more than 50 years. The objectives of the first session are still before the teachers today:

  • Have better singing in our assemblies, and provide good singing for weddings, funerals, and special occasions.

  • Train experienced and inexperienced song

    leaders.

  • Enable church leaders and potential teachers so that they can equip their home congregations (including music theory, voice, special groups, and song leading).

  • Provide training in music theory for beginners through experienced song writers, encouraging them to write spiritual music.

  • Have a lot of fun practicing, learning, and singing praises to our Lord
